The Body Shop Lip & Cheek Stain

I finally bought the lip & cheek stain after a long contemplation..

Ah..lip & cheek stains..a trip down memory lane..

Pardon my recollection..

Hmm..Let me see..my first foray into cheek stain when I was 15; a mere secondary school student who was in choir. At that time, my interest in skin care and cosmetics has only started to piqued me. My little mind than knew very little about beauty stuff..not even the basic cleanse-tone-moisturise routine..save for only knowing what is a foundation, blusher and lipstick is.

Allow me to digress a little into my back ground..You see, my mum than only used foundation, blusher and lipstick. Back when I was young, the average Singaporean hardly makeup. Makeup was only put on during special occasions like going for a wedding, dining in a restaurant etc. Thus, my knowledge of skincare and makeup was rather limited.

Ok back to when I was in secondary school. At that time, choir was to put up a performance in school. My mum than passed me her foundation only as her blusher was missing and her lipstick almost used up.

When it was time to put on my makeup, a section friend lent me her "blusher & lip stick". I remember feeling bewildered back than, wondering what was the thing before me. Seeing my confusion, my friend helped me apply my first lip & cheek stain.

I was facinated and delighted when I saw the mirror. I was truly intrigued that a red liquid could actually give me a subtle glow and pink lips! To this day, I never forget the effects of this "miracle red water"!

Unfortunately, I couldn't remember the brand of that particular stain, though I'm certain it's not from The Body Shop. I remembered my friend said she bought it from Giant(a hypermart equivalent of Target, Walmart).

So there..this was my first encounter with a lip and cheek stain.

Wow I digress quite a bit here..hehe

Anyways, I finally bought The Body Shop Lip & Cheek Stain today after a very long contemplation and hearing many good reviews for this.

I'll try it out in the next few days and do a review.

Have a great week ahead! :)

Finally

Finally gotten to set up a personal blog! :) At least over here, I can bare my soul :)

Anyway, I just want to concentrate on beauty stuff on my beauty blog.

Been procrastinating alot recently. My room, my makeup, my life..

My room is still not tidied up. Tidied it before my attachment, but it's now super messy.
Looking at the mess, it frightens me to start packing. Haiz..I should get my lazy butt off and start packing.

I've been looking for an ideal storage solution for my makeup. Looked up on many ideas online. Seen many beauty addicts storage ideas and how they store their makeup. However, many of their beauty storage are custom built..Boo Hoo..

Another beauty addict suggested some furnitures catering to store beauty stuff. She linked a site and I went in to take a look. I really like the storage system and compartments but it cost a bomb! PLUS it's location is in the US or UK. Shipping it to here will cost an arm and a leg!!!!! *Sigh*

Than, one day, I saw snowkei's entry. Snowkei is a rather famous member in Spektra-the MAC addict website/forum. Snowkei hails from Taiwan and is also a makeup artist. Her makeup tutorials are excellent. Check out her blog here and her entry on her new makeup storage solution. Her new makeup storage solution looks like a tool box to me. Kinda like those to keep screws, screwdrivers and other tools.

If anyone has seen anything similar to Snowkei's makeup storage, pls inform me. Thanks!
